What is VIP seating and early access?

New this year is the option to purchase VIP seating with early access to the auction.  Come early at 4:00 pm and browse the verbal and silent auction.  Bidding on silent auction items will open at 4:30 pm.  Get priority seating at an assigned table closer to the stage.  This is the first time that the auction is offering this option and will do our best to coordinate appropriate seating depending on the number of attendees that pick this option.

Where is the Auction being held?

The Auction will be held at the CCS Events Center.  

What is the purpose of the annual PTO Auction?

The Auction is held to promote fellowship between those who are a part of Coventry Christian School’s Family.  The auction is held to raise funds for the PTO to help support and grow Coventry Christian School.

Who should attend the PTO Auction?

Any parent(s), grandparent(s), relative(s), or friends of Coventry Christian School.

When should I register for the PTO Auction?

Registration opens on January 1, 2025.  Please register, as soon as possible, so we may accurately plan for this event.  Please plan to register early, as we may sell out. Additionally, bidder numbers are provided in the order in which you register on the website. Check out is processed from lowest bidder number to highest.

What time does the event Start?

Doors open at 4:30 pm, which is when the silent auction portion of the event starts. Opening remarks will occur at 5:15 pm.  

What time does the event end?

The last portion of the event, which is the live auction, typically ends at approximately 9:00 pm.  Check-out will occur at that time, in order of your bidding paddle number.

Can I leave the auction event early?

We encourage everyone to attend the auction and stay for the entire event. There are many things that occur throughout the auction including the end of the night. Auction items won must be paid for and taken with the winner by the end of the night. The Auction committee will not hold items to be picked up at a later time.

What are the meal selection for dinner?

Begin the night with a Charcuterie style table for appetizers.  The night will progress with a salad at your assigned table, followed by tomato bisque, butternut squash soup and bacon and apple grilled cheese station and along with a grilled corn station and a pork and beef carving station.  Drinks and desserts will be provided.

How much does it cost to attend the Auction?

The Auction costs $47 for a single ticket and includes light dinner, entertainment by a live auctioneer and plenty of fellowship.  VIP options with priority seating is available with additional costs.

Will I receive paper tickets for the Auction?

No, the Auction is done entirely online. Once you purchase tickets through the website you will receive a receipt to the email provided. You do not need to show this receipt when you come to the auction. Everything will be saved within the auction software.

Is babysitting available for my child(ren) during the event?

Yes, babysitting will be available at the CCS campus.  Babysitting will open at 4:00 pm.  Typically one or two CCS personnel are in charge of babysitting and will utilize several of the high school students to help with the children.  Donations for this service are requested but not required.

Dinner (typically pizza) will be provided for the students.  

How should I dress for this event?

The Auction is considered a Semi-Formal event, suggestion include a suit for men, and an appropriate knee length dress or dressy pant suit for women.

What are accepted methods of payment for items I bid on and win?

Accepted methods of payment include credit card, check, or cash.  Stop by the registration table when you arrive at the event for further instructions.

Where does my bid money go?

All funds raised from the PTO Auction are raised for the PTO.  The PTO uses these funds throughout the year to help improve the school.   

What items are for sale at the Auction?

The Auction committee works hard to procure items for the Auction.  The silent auction typically includes items from local stores which include jewelry, sports items, gift cards, gift baskets, etc.  The verbal auction will consist of projects that the Teachers and Children have made that will have a very personal touch.  You won’t want to miss the verbal auction!
